General Information

The Federal Signal Informer is a fully programmable tone alert radio receiver specifically designed for instant alerting and notification of emergency situations.  It is well suited for any application where and audible warning is needed.  It is a modern day replacement for the old Plectron receivers and the Motorola Alert Monitors.

The Informer is available in Low, High, and UHF frequencies and will decode Single Tone, Two-Tone Sequential and DTMF signaling formats, along with CTCSS and DCTCSS. 

The price for the standard INFORMER is $499.00.  
The price for the INFORMER with the relay / sound option is $599.00.
